![]() FILM ACTING TECHNIQUE ADULT CLASS and TEEN CLASS Offered as a one-day INTRO CLASS and also an EIGHT SESSION INTENSIVE There are two main schools of thought when it comes to acting technique. We've all heard about the "Method," made famous by the likes of Marlon Brando and James Dean. While both styles have their merits, these days the preferred acting technique useful for film and television is Meisner. Through various Meisner-based exercises, students will: -Learn to be vulnerable, and how to get there and stay there every take -How to get in and stay 'in the moment' -Deeper listening and responding -Finding the character's life and voice Be able to use these tools in every aspect of their acting pursuits including auditions, scenes, monologues, even while meeting agents and casting directors! CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED. Everyone works every class. Email us for pricing and schedule. Group classes are now forming.
